Mrs. Rachel Del Aguila, Director

I am the licensed owner and operator of Rachel's Family Daycare. I opened the daycare in 2008, one year after the birth of my son, Julian Jonah. Prior to 2008, I was an elementary school teacher for about 10 years and I have taught grade 1st through 3rd.  I am working on updating my teacher certification.  Also I'm working on obtaining a VPK certification.

I currently have CPR, First Aid and Water Safety certification.  I love being a teacher and caring for children. We maintain a structured schedule throughout the daycare.  Children engage in hands-on learning activiites, such as arts and crafts, manipulatives, and learning activities using Creative Curriculum and Starbrite.  We read books that are related to the theme in the morning and afternoon.  Reading is very important in developing vocabulary, communicating, and so much more.  We also have a fun playground that is fenced in and the kids love it!  I look forward to more years of educating and caring for young children.
